Strategic Plan

The Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management recently revised the former plan and identified the Department’s strategic future research direction and faculty needs. The development of this plan was faculty-driven, with the Department’s Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC) being given the charge to oversee the process. Dr. Roel Lopez provided leadership for the FAC and was lead for the Research section. Dr. Gerard Kyle was lead for the Teaching section and Dr. Parr Rosson was lead for the Extension section. Other members of the FAC included Drs. Megan Clayton, Ronald Kaiser, Tammi Johnson, Bill Pinchak, Amanda Stronza, Michael Schuett, Doug Tolleson, and John Tomeček, with support from Theresa Nemec, Mallory Eastland, and Nancy Walters.  Nancy Walters facilitated the process and provided oversight in developing the plan. The RWFM Strategic Plan was further refined based on feedback received during the annual all-RWFM faculty retreat.
