How to Apply

Step 1: Meet Requirements Outlined in Transfer Course Guides

There are different requirements for each track within the B.S. Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management Degree. A full list of the requirements for each RWFM degree track can be found on the Texas A&M Transfer Students Page.

Step 2: Admission Application

Prospective students can submit their Texas A&M transfer application through ApplyTexas or Common App. The application you choose will not affect your admission decision. Only one application per student.

Step 3: Statement of Purpose

The statement of purpose should clearly demonstrate academic interests and career aspirations.  It also provides an opportunity to explain any extenuating circumstances that you feel could add value to your application. The statement of purpose is not meant to be a listing of accomplishments in high school or a record of your participation in school-related activities. Rather, this is your opportunity to address the admissions committee directly and to let us know more about you as an individual, in a manner that your transcripts and other application information cannot convey.

Step 4: Non-Refundable Application Fee

A $75 non-refundable processing fee is required to complete your application.

Step 5: Official College Transcript

The Texas A&M How to Apply as a Transfer Student Page provides key resources regarding key application materials.

Official Collegiate Transcript(s) from ALL schools previously attended. Emailed copies are not acceptable.

Coursework from one college posted on the transcript of another is not acceptable.

College transcript(s) for dual/college credit earned in high school must be submitted.

All college transcripts will be evaluated, assigned credit and posted to the student record (viewable in Howdy) upon admission.

Paper transcripts must be mailed in a sealed school envelope.
Faxed, scanned, photocopied or emailed copies are not acceptable.
