Professional Summary
Brian Ray joined Texas A&M University in 2006 and serves as research associate with the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife & Fisheries Management. Functionally, he serves as the facility manager for the Aquacultural Research and Teaching Facility located near the Texas A&M campus. Ray helps facilitate faculty and student research in the areas of aquaculture, fish nutrition and related areas. He has previous experience with stock enhancement working with the marine hatchery program of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. He serves on the board for the Texas Aquaculture Association and has been active in national and international aquaculture societies throughout his career. In 2015, Brian was awarded the Dean’s Outstanding Service Award for Staff Excellence.
