Professional Summary

Hiva Asadikia, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management. She is collaborating with Shraddha Hegde, Ph.D., on research projects that focus on aquaculture and natural resource economics. Asadikia’s recent research was recognized at the International Institute of Fisheries Economics and Trade (IIFET) in 2022 and received the Japan International Fisheries Research Society (JIFRS)-Yamamoto Award for best paper honorable mention. Additionally, her Ph.D. dissertation received the best Ph.D. dissertation award from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. Asadikia’s previous research expands on a range of topics, including supply chain efficiency analysis in aquaculture, as well as customer segmentation analysis, big data applications and analytics, and the development of analytical dynamic dashboards in the banking sector.
