Professional Summary

Bethany Boggan joined the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management in 2023 as the ranch operations manager of the 2,726-acre La Copita Demonstration Ranch and Research Area located in Jim Wells County. In this position, Boggan oversees daily ranch operations and facilities management; works cooperatively with the Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management on the strategic direction of ranching and grazing operations and collaborates with RWFM researchers and extension specialists to facilitate research and demonstration outcomes on the ranch. Prior to joining RWFM, Boggan served as a research specialist with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University-Kingsville where she conducted research on feral hogs and monitored crop damage using unmanned aerial vehicles.
