Kothmann lives in Menard County, where she and her husband, Curtis, run an Angus cow/calf operation on the Forked Lightning Ranch. They are proud to be the 5th generation to continue the legacy of stewardship of this ranch, which was established by Kothmann’s great grandfather, Andes Henry Murchison, in 1888.
