Professional Summary
Edward Rhodes is pursuing a doctoral degree in rangeland, wildlife and fisheries management under the direction of Humberto Perotto, Ph.D. His research investigates land use change and water use in the Ogallala Aquifer region. Using historical aerial imagery from the 1950s to present, Rhodes will quantify land use and land cover trends in the Ogallala Region, as well as model future water use in the region through the year 2100.
Rhodes is also a research specialist with the Texas Water Resources Institute in College Station where he works on stream monitoring, GIS/Remote Sensing, and watershed management plans.
