Professional Summary
Sarah Turner, Ph.D., is a research assistant professor in the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute and the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management. Her research primarily focuses on military lands management and floral/faunal ecological interactions and has included projects on a variety of taxa from the White Sands Pupfish and the Lesser Prairie Chicken to invasive vegetation species control. She approaches ecological issues from a habitat aspect, as she believes wildlife management stems from understanding vegetation community interactions of areas utilized by wildlife. In 2024, her contributions were recognized with the Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society Early Career Professional Award.
