Please follow these rules when using the property:
- Access for any property use must be pre-approved by the RWFM Property Management Committee. Approval is required BEFORE any grant application involving the property is initiated.
- Property visits for research, events and classes must be pre-approved by the La Copita property manager.
- No hunting, fishing or camping is allowed on the property. Please stay on trials.
- Take particular care not to disturb or destroy teaching or research activities.
La Copita Forms and Guidelines
La Copita is a working ranch and research study area for students and faculty of Texas A&M University and requires that users complete mandatory forms and follow property use guidelines.
Employment and Student Opportunities at La Copita
La Copita Demonstration Ranch and Research Area offers student employment and internship opportunities throughout the year. For more information regarding upcoming opportunities, contact Bethany Boggan.
Amenities at La Copita
Housing for researchers using the property is available based on available capacity. The bunkhouse is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom facility with a full kitchen and dining/living area. Each bedroom has two twin-size beds, for a total of eight beds.
Housing accommodations much be coordinated with Bethany Boggan, ranch operations manager.
